In an increasingly secular and sceptical world, it can often feel like faith is under threat. But faith is not simply blind belief, its trusting in something we have good evidence for.
Confident Christianity is an apologetics course from Unbelievable? that will help you to understand the evidence for God and answer objections to faith.
In this course you’ll learn from show host Justin Brierley and some of the world’s leading Christian thinkers including William Lane Craig, John Lennox, Amy Orr-Ewing and Gary Habermas.
The 6 modules will help you think through questions around the evidence for Christianity and atheism, philosophical arguments for God, the problem of suffering, science and faith and the life death and resurrection of Jesus.
Wherever you are on the faith journey, we believe that this course will help to give you confidence to take the message of the risen Jesus to many others.
A Guide to Jordan Peterson's Big Conversation.
Our most popular episode of Premier Unbelievable?’s The Big Conversation, attracting over 3 million viewers on YouTube, was the debate between Jordan Peterson and Susan Blackmore over the question “do we need God to make sense of life”. Indeed Peterson himself is quite a phenomenon, introducing a whole new audience to the study of the Bible.
Yet the Christian viewer might be left feeling a little perplexed, because unlike most other guests on this show, Peterson does not fit neatly into either the “Christian” nor “non-Christian” box. Susan Blackmore left us in do doubt as to her atheistic views, but what has Peterson offered, if anything, in defence of the Christian faith, that could be of use to us?
The answer turns out to be, surprisingly, quite a lot! With a little bit of digging and explaining, we can take away much from his exchange with Blackmore, to help us make the case for Christ in a unique, creative, and culturally engaging way!
And that’s what I’m here to help you do! In this course, consisting of lecture videos, clips from the episode, slides, and question assignments, I will be walking you through key moments in this debate and helping you to unearth the sometimes hidden gems that Peterson offers us, in making the case for why we really do need God to make sense of life.

A weekly podcast with Professor Alister McGrath exploring C.S. Lewis’ thought, theology and teaching.
Welcome to the fortnightly podcast that connects you to NT (Tom) Wright’s thought and theology by allowing you to ask the questions.
Each week, in the award-winning radio show and podcast Unbelievable?, Justin Brierley asks questions like: Is there evidence for God? Can we trust the Bible? Did Jesus rise from the dead? Justin tackles these and other issues, on a show that gets Christians and sceptics talking.
A weekly show from Premier Unbelievable? in which Justin Brierley interviews leading apologists, theologians and evangelists in order to help Christians understand, defend and share their faith with confidence... unapologetically!
In each episode of Matters of Life and Death, brought to you by Premier Unbelievable, John Wyatt and his son Tim discuss issues in healthcare, ethics, technology, science, faith and more. John is a doctor, professor of ethics, and writer and speaker on many of these topics, while Tim is a religion and social affairs journalist. We talk about how Christians can better engage with a particular question of life, death or something else in between.
A coffee break is sometimes exactly that. A chance to break down barriers and talk about personal things, things that really matter. Such as faith. From after-service gatherings to coffee mornings, sharing coffee and conversation is a crucial part of church life.
And some conversations can even lead to life-changing conversions.
So we want to share coffee. But we want to share coffee that not only tastes great and is environmentally and ethically sound, but also makes a difference to people who are struggling, in ill-health or simply need to talk to someone.
A good cup of coffee helps the world go round. From Frappuccino’s to macchiatos, from flat whites to skinny lattes, we get through over two billion cups of the stuff each day. So why not choose to drink a coffee that also makes the world a better place?
When you buy Garden of Eden coffee, you are helping people around the UK who need to talk. GOE coffee supports the work of Premier Lifeline: the national Christian helpline, an important service offering a listening ear, emotional and spiritual support from a Christian perspective to thousands of people every month.
For many of us, coffee is a pleasant pick-me-up, but for millions of people across the world, coffee is their sole livelihood. Some 70% of the world’s coffee is produced by smallholder farmers in remote tropical regions, many of whom face a daily struggle to get sufficient income. This is why every cup of GOE coffee you drink gives a little extra back to the cooperative communities of our coffee growers. Where our coffee is Fair Trade, Organic or Rainforest Alliance certified, we choose to invest an additional 5% premium to encourage the communities continued effort towards growing coffee sustainably. However, we also recognise that for many coffee farmers, who are struggling for economic survival, certification is currently out of reach. In these instances, we support the adoption of best practices to produce sustainably grown coffee, and pay the farmers a 10% premium on the market price, giving them a platform to achieve full certification.
There are 7 varieties of coffee to choose from, just see our taste card for more information about the great tastes and flavours available in whole bean, ground or coffee pod form. You can also see the Countries of origin and view the taste notes for each blend.
All our packaging for beans, ground and pods is suitable for recycling and carries the recognised symbol on the back of the pack. The pods themselves are certified biodegradable as well as 100 % compostable. They are constructed from bio based renewable material and have no aluminium and and no plastic. We will be putting this information on our website as we believe it is something to be proud of and we would love our customers to know about our sustainability provenance. Pods are compatible with Nespresso machines and work in the same way, except you can compost them once you’re done! And in most cases put them in your recycle bins (check with your local council recycling policy)
Subscribing to Garden of Eden saves you 10% on the pack price every time you receive your order. We are also competitive against other well-known fair trade brands and in some cases less expensive altogether (price per kilo) and our pods actually cost less than the 100 pack Nespresso variety and are still compatible with Nespresso machines. Our coffee does taste amazing! Is ethically sourced and fairly traded so yes as a consumer you would expect to pay more for that quality, but when priced against other fair trade high street brands and subscription coffees, we are about there in the middle of the ring. All our bean and blend coffees come in packs of 1kg ( split as 4 x 250g or 2 x 500g bags) and are available on subscription which ensures we are not wastefully shipping small quantities. We also keep our shipping prices at a standard rate regardless of the number of items in the basket so our customers are not discouraged from making the most of our door to door service.

World Vision - transforming vulnerable children's lives since 1950
World Vision has a long history of taking action that transforms the world. Inspired by our Christian faith, we help children – of all faiths and none - in some of the world's most dangerous places. We believe the goal of therapy is to increase both psychological and spiritual wholeness, and this can only be accomplished in an appropriate environment.
We have also seen proven success in the affordability and convenience of online mental therapy. By bringing together a network of professional therapists who are practicing Christians online, we see unprecedented opportunity to help believers access the help they need, when and how they can best receive it.
We understand that each member of this platform will have their own unique approach and preference as to how to best incorporate spiritual practices into the therapy process and invite God into the conversation.
Faithful Counseling is a professional mental health service that allows users to connect with licensed therapists that share a Christian background. By combining Biblical wisdom with clinical expertise in mental health, our therapists do their best to invite God into the conversation and formulate actionable plans that best address the unique challenges their clients face. Our goal is to holistically improve clients’ well-being, so that they may feel mentally, emotionally, and spiritually healthy.
In order to provide the best experience possible, our unique online platform holds several benefits over traditional face-to-face therapy. On Faithful Counseling, you have access to communicate with your therapist through scheduled video sessions and phone calls, plus unlimited messaging with your therapist at any time. Users may connect via a computer, tablet or smartphone, depending on their preference.
We operate as a monthly subscription service, providing access to therapy at drastically more affordable rates than traditional, session-based pricing.
The cost of therapy through FaithfulCounseling ranges from £40 - £70 per week (billed every 4 weeks) and it is based on your location, preferences, and therapist availability. You can cancel your membership at any time, for any reason.
Therapists on BetterHelp are registered, trained, and experienced Practitioner Psychologists, Accredited Counsellors, or similar applicable recognized professional certification. Therapists must have a relevant academic degree in their field, at least 3 years of experience, and have to be qualified and accredited by their respective professional organization after successfully completing the necessary education, exams, training, practice, and ongoing supervision requirements.
After you sign up, we will match you to an available therapist who fits your objectives, preferences, and the type of issues you are dealing with. Different therapists have different approaches and areas of focus, so it's important to find the right person who can achieve the best results for you. We have found that we are able to provide a successful match most of the time; however, if you start the process and you feel your therapist isn't a good fit for you, you may elect to be matched to a different therapist.
Faithful Counseling may be right for you if you're looking to improve the quality of your life and are seeking a Christian perspective. Whenever there is anything that interferes with your happiness or prevents you from achieving your goals, we may be able to help. We also have therapists who specialize in specific issues such as stress, anxiety, relationships, parenting, depression, addictions, eating, sleeping, trauma, anger, family conflicts, LGBT matters, grief, religion, self esteem, and more.
Faithful Counseling is not the right solution for you if any of the following is true:
You can get therapy in four ways:
You can use different ways at different times as you wish, based on your needs, availability, and convenience.

Ruach Resources is a new charity and home to God for Kids app and the Animals of Eden Valley Books.
Our vision is to share the goodness of God with each new generation by creating and sharing resources to spark conversations about God’s character between kids and their grown-ups.
SUBSCRIBEOriginally designed as a children’s devotional app for 3-8 year olds, God for Kids app explores characteristics of God through play, bringing the Bible to life and encouraging questions between kids and their grown-ups.
God for Kids is a FREE app on Google Play and the App Store.
It launched in 2016 and has recently undergone a huge makeover - same great content but more user friendly for the little ones.
In the new and updated version, we’ve added action-song videos from Alive Family Worship (alivefamilyworship.com) and a series of bedtime stories/podcasts for your preschoolers to enjoy!
In the next 12 months we will be adding new languages, starting with Ukrainian, German and Portuguese.
While kids feel at home on digital devices, many grown-ups still prefer to interact with their children using well-written, beautifully illustrated and engaging books.
Animals of Eden Valley books explore the most commonly asked questions by children, about God, using the same animated characters found in the God for Kids app.
Roar the lion wonders, on his 10th birthday, how old God might be and who made God anyway?
Eve is new to the idea of an invisible God and wonders how the others can believe in something they can't see?
Shriek the Eagle is lonely and wonders where she can find God's house to invite him for a cup of tea...
Grunt the Ox is strong and loves to help others but when disaster strikes, wonders who is strong enough to help him?

Today, 9 out of 10 people living in sub-Saharan Africa don’t have access to safe surgery. This means 16.9 million people die each year from conditions that are treatable or curable — the equivalent of a crowded football stadium every day.
Premier Christian Radio and Mercy Ships have come together in a yearlong partnership, to bring this urgent and unjust need to the attention of Christians and churches across the UK. We share the belief that everyone deserves access to medical treatment. This year is pivotal since the global pandemic threatens to undo decades of progress across Africa.
Mercy Ships delivers accessible, free surgery and vital medical care for those living in unjust poverty to tackle this critical need, by following the 2,000-year-old model of Jesus, bringing hope and healing.
Jesus said, when we visit the sick we do it for Him (Matthew 25:31-46). Today, you can follow the 2000-year-old model of Jesus: You can transform lives with free surgeries. You can stand alongside hundreds of Christians volunteering their skills onboard our ships. And you can help provide training for local surgeons and nurses, leaving a legacy in each African nation. You can bring hope and healing to people like Aicha.
Aicha is a little girl who suffered from bowed legs, a condition caused by poverty. Thanks to a free surgery onboard our floating hospital, Aicha is now able to attend school and play with her friends. Today, more children like Aicha are dreaming of a life without pain, fear, rejection and ridicule.
More than 44% of the world’s population lives within 100 miles of a coast — which is why Mercy Ships uses modern hospital ships to bring worldclass volunteer medical professionals directly to the places they’re needed most.
Our ships are the most efficient way to bring a state-of-the-art hospital to regions where clean water, electricity, and medical facilities and personnel are limited or nonexistent. We provide a safe, stable, fully outfitted teaching-hospital ship to help change the odds for thousands of people in need.
We also train local healthcare providers and improve medical infrastructure. And we even stock our ships with a supply of vehicles so we can reach remote areas.
The Africa Mercy ship is already working in Senegal, crewed by many volunteers from the UK. And the Global Mercy is the world’s first and largest charity floating hospital and medical school. It will join the Africa Mercy soon, and half of the roles onboard are not medical at all.
To crew both ships, Mercy Ships provide opportunities for 2,600 volunteers from over 50 nations each year. Half of the roles are not medical, with 200 different volunteer options available from audio-visual technicians to car mechanics, receptionists to paediatric nurses.
Whether you pray, donate, volunteer, or all three, you can transform lives today.
No.
Half of the roles onboard are not medical. We offer 200 different volunteer options from audio-visual technicians to car mechanics, receptionists to kitchen helpers, and many more.
It takes a village to run a hospital ship.

Mercy Ships also have a community of volunteers Speakers in the UK. You could become a home-based volunteer, who we train and support to share patient and crew stories in unique and inspiring ways with WI groups, schools, community groups and local churches.
As well as completing thousands of urgent operations in every country we visit, Mercy Ships also works closely with host nations to improve the way healthcare is delivered across the country, by training and mentoring local medical staff, and renovating hospitals and clinics.
Through this medical capacity building programme, Mercy Ships is working to leave a legacy that lasts – providing essential medical facilities and equipment, sharing expertise and teaching the teachers, and building healthcare strategies with governments.
There are over 200 jobs onboard, and only half of them are medical! We are looking for people from all fields and backgrounds to serve with us.
We offer opportunities for professionals from all backgrounds to join the team on one of our ships. Roles include:

The ship remains in one place for the duration of our 'field service' in a partner nation. We always serve at the invitation of each nation's Ministry of Health and national government leaders.
